Natalie Paris, a writer for Telegraph recently got the opportunity to encounter with spectacular sharks at Constance Moofushi. Not only did she get the chance to witness the kings of sea, but also she got the assistance of dive instructors at Constance Moofushi in learning how to use a dive scooter.
The resort provide lessons on using James Bond movie gadget like, dive scooters. These dive scooters are handy in navigating strong currents and helps in maintaining your balance and energy levels during diving.
Near Constance Moofushi, a popular shark congregating area called Shark Point is found. It is here that Natalie witnessed over 15 sharks.
Regarding the shark encounter Natalie had this to say “I counted about 20 sharks, jerking in and out of silver shoals of fish, their outlines smudging occasionally in the ribbons of current. The beauty of the site is that it feels like dropping in on a crossroads busy with all manner of marine life going about their business.”
Constance Moofushi is the perfect resort if you want to experience the underwater diversity and richness of Maldivian waters. In addition to popular dive sites, the resort is situated on the route where whale sharks and manta rays migrate annually.
The resort can be reached via a 30 minute seaplane ride from Hulhule, international airport island.
